Dear Administrator of Birmingham Public Schools, 

Hello. I am a student at Covington and recently we have had a lot of snow days for no reason! And that is something I would like to address. On January 28th all Birmingham Public Schools had a snow day due to inclement weather and was about 6° in Bloomfield Hills around BCS. Then the following day we did not have a snow day as you know.  And It was the same weather and temperature 6° and we had school. 

So I would like you to find a new method to determine a snow day. Such as hearing the buzz on the television and radio, determine a expectable temperature for school, how much snow is allowed, and the wind chill and so on. To determine a snow day so we don't waste them.   

So from now on I would recommend this method for the sake for the Birmingham Public Schools teacher, parents, and kids. I thank you for your time and consideration for the snow days. Hope to see you soon in up coming events at Birmingham Covington School.

I got up this morning and I was in the dark with my pajamas and the alarm on. I reach for the alarm to turn it off thinking and knowing its a school day.  And my aldamatic reaction is start laying down agian closeting my eyes hopeimg it was a dream. Three minutes whent by and  I here a faint voice "git up its a school day".

To day I have a swim meet after school at BCS and is is against EHMS and they do not have a sixth grade team so today sixth garde is raceing against the same team on our team.
